Rooted in my upbringing in Northern Ontario, my work is inspired by the raw beauty and quiet resilience of the Canadian landscape. The textures, forms, and colours of nature serve as both memory and muse—offering a visual language through which I explore place, emotion, and transformation.

Working with a range of materials—acrylic, oil, cold wax, graphite, and pastel—I build layered surfaces that reflect time, erosion, and growth. I often begin with a loose concept, but allow the process to guide me. Through mark-making, sanding, and layering, each piece becomes a dialogue between intention and intuition.

My goal is to create work that resonates on a personal level—evoking a sense of familiarity, reflection, or stillness. I believe that art can awaken something vital in each of us, and I hope my work offers viewers a moment of connection.
